EDGI2 aims to identify the genes that influence a person’s risk of developing anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge-eating disorder (BED), avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and atypical anorexia nervosa (AAN) to improve treatments and ultimately save lives.

Identifying genes that predispose people to eating disorders will revolutionize future research into causes, treatment, and prevention of the illness.
